Angels and Demons
Finally, I get to watch this movie. One down on my list of " Wanna watch and must watch movies".
I shall give it a rating of 4/5. It's more straight forward than The Da Vinci Code. At least I understand clearly the plot of the movie and what the characters are saying. And this movie kept me in suspense most of the time! I don't find the movie that bloody though, which my sis and bro insisted that it was.
And it's the first time I see such a high-tech "bomb" in any movies or shows. A bomb filled with protons, neutrons and electrons. Haha! The statues and settings in the movie are very amazing! Thumbs up for the movie!
Next few movies on my list:- Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen
- Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince
- Public Enemies
- Man on Wire
- I Love You, Man
- Ice Age 3, Dawn of The Dinosaurs
- State of Play
Oh my god. That's gotta keep me waiting!!! I'm especially looking forward for the first 3 movies! I hope Harry Potter won't be a disappointment to me. Anyway I forgot the story 98%. I only remembered Ron and Hermione kissed. Haha! Caught the Transformers trailer, and I shall say "IT'S SIMPLY AWESOME". Saw the new robot, damn cool can!
As for Public Enemies, JOHNNY DEPP AND CHRISTIAN BALE will be acting. Omg, it's CAPTAIN JACK and Batman! Haha. Looks exciting from the plot...
In the action-thriller Public Enemies, acclaimed filmmaker Michael Mann directs Johnny Depp, Christian Bale and Academy Award winner Marion Cotillard in the story of legendary Depression-era outlaw John Dillinger (Depp) - the charismatic bank robber whose lightning raids made him the number one target of J. Edgar Hoovers fledgling FBI and its top agent, Melvin Purvis (Bale), and a folk hero to much of the downtrodden public. No one could stop Dillinger and his gang. No jail could hold him. His charm and audacious jailbreaks endeared him to almost everyone - from his girlfriend Billie Frechette to an American public who had no sympathy for the banks that had plunged the country into the Depression.
But while the adventures of Dillingers gang - later including the sociopathic Baby Face Nelson (Stephen Graham) and Alvin Karpis (Giovanni Ribisi) - thrilled many, Hoover (Billy Crudup) hit on the idea of exploiting the outlaws capture as a way to elevate his Bureau of Investigation into the national police force that became the FBI. He made Dillinger Americas first Public Enemy Number One and sent in Purvis, the dashing Clark Gable of the FBI.
However, Dillinger and his gang outwitted and outgunned Purvis men in wild chases and shootouts. Only after importing a crew of Western ex-lawmen (newly baptized as agents) and orchestrating epic betrayals - from the infamous Lady in Red to the Chicago crime boss Frank Nitti - were Purvis, the FBI and their new crew of gunfighters able to close in on Dillinger.
Not bad huh, so the anticipation begins....
